The 2004 Old
Car Festival was a complete success. The McFarland Living History Ranch was the
perfect setting, the cars seeming to 'feel' like they had come home. Everyone
had a wonderful time! Plan ahead for the last Sunday in September 2005 as a
participant or as a spectator.

2003 Old Car Festival at Harvey Park in Galt
Early
Engine and Tractor Show - Was October 1st. and 2nd. 2004 at McFarland Living
History Ranch.
Everyone had a
great time. Listening to the symphony of the old engines popping was music to
the ears. What a great opportunity to see generations in families working
together and having a wonderful time. Tractor pulls were a blast; the tractor
parade was also fun to watch and was a great hit with the kids! In addition,
there were homemade pies, just plain WOW! The pie sale was a fund raiser for the
McFarland Living History Ranch by the Galt Area Historical Society. Don't miss
out on the fun next year!

Easy access from Interstate 5 or Highway 99
Interstate 5
From the south take the Twin Cities Jackson Highway (Highway 104) off ramp. Turn
right on Twin Cities Road. Take a right on Christiansen Rd, right on Orr Rd.
Watch for the large sign McFarland Living History Ranch before the sharp left
hand turn in the road.
From the north take the Twin Cities
Jackson Highway (Highway 104) off-ramp. Turn left over overpass onto Twin Cities
Rd. Take a right on Christiansen Rd, right on Orr Rd. Watch for the large sign
McFarland Living History Ranch before the sharp left hand turn in the road.
Highway 99
Take Pringle Ave. exit make left immediately on North Lincoln Way. Turn right on
Elm which will turn into Orr Rd. In about four miles watch for the large sign
McFarland Living History Ranch before the sharp left hand turn in the road.
From the south take the Simmerhorn
Rd. Exit. Make a left on Simmerhorn follow Simmerhorn over freeway. At stop
making right, then left on Elm Rd. In about four miles watch for the large sign
McFarland Living History Ranch before the sharp left hand turn in the road.
From the central Galt Exit (C St.)
Exit from north or south off of Highway 99, west on C. St. right at the Lincoln
Way and C St. light, left on Elm St. In about four miles watch for the large
sign McFarland Living History Ranch before the sharp left hand turn in the road.
